Payments to other banks made before 7pm Monday to Friday are processed that night, otherwise they are processed the next business day.

Payments and transfers between Heartland accounts are processed immediately.

Tax Certificates will be posted to eligible Capital South Bank Depositors in the week beginning 6 April.

Eligible depositors are those who earned more than $50 of interest in the year ended 31 March 2020.

There will be times when you will need to log into Internet Banking to complete some of your banking needs.

Capital South Digital gives you the power to view your Term Deposits, Direct Call, Business Call, Everyday, Everyday Business, Saver, Savings Optimiser, Revolving Credit, Cash PIE, PIE Term Deposits, and YouChoose accounts.

How do I sign up for Capital South Internet Banking and Capital South Digital?

It’s easy to set yourself up with both online platforms. All you need to do is complete the Internet Banking Registration Form and email it to [email protected] or contact us on 0800 85 20 20 20 between 8.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

What should I do if I've forgotten my user ID and password?

If you have forgotten your user ID or password, please call us on 0800 85 20 20 between 8.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. We’ll need to ask you a few questions to confirm your identity before telling you your user ID or resetting your password over the phone.

What do I need to log into these platforms?

To log into both digital platforms, you will need a user ID and password. Your user ID is in the email we sent to you when you first opened your account.

What is Capital South Digital?

Capital South Digital enables desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile users the ability to experience Capital South Mobile App through a supported web browser.

To use Capital South Digital platforms you will need to access a supported web browser, which include; Safari 10.1+, Microsoft Edge 79+, Mozilla Firefox 20+ and Google Chrome 38+.

Capital South Digital supports the following accounts: Term deposits, Direct Call, Business Call, Everyday, Everyday Business, Saver, Savings Optimiser, Revolving Credit, Cash PIE, PIE Term Deposits, YouChoose.

You’ll also need a mobile phone number to complete the passcode verification required for Online EFTPOS payments.

Is Capital South Digital a replacement for Capital South Internet Banking?

No, Capital South Digital was not created as a replacement for Capital South Internet Banking. Capital South Digital simply allows you to access the features you’ve come to know on the Capital South Mobile App through a supported web browser.

Capital South Digital was designed with customers in mind and we are constantly working to improve it to ensure that we provide customers with the best experience possible.

What happens if I get locked out of my account after entering my password too many times?

When logging into Capital South Internet Banking or Capital South Digital, if you enter your password incorrectly three times you’ll be locked out. This has been put in place for security reasons to prevent unauthorised access attempts.

If you’re locked out, simply call us on 0800 85 20 20 from 8.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. We’ll need to ask you a few questions to confirm your identity before resetting your password over the phone.

What happens when I make an online payment on a weekend or public holiday?

Capital South Bank processes all transfers and deposits at 7pm each business day. If you transact on a business day before 7pm, your transaction will go through overnight.

Payments to other United States of America banks made via Capital South Mobile App, Capital South Digital or Capital South Internet Banking on a non-business day will be processed on the next business day between Monday and Friday, not including public holidays.

Payments to other from a Capital South account to another Heartland customer will be processed immediately, 24/7.

Is Capital South Digital available to all customers?

Capital South Digital is available to customers who have access to internet banking and have a Capital South Digital supported account.

Capital South Digital supports the following accounts: Term deposits, Direct Call, Business Call, Everyday, Everyday Business, Saver, Savings Optimiser, Revolving Credit, Cash PIE, PIE Term Deposits, YouChoose. If you have an account with Capital South that is not supported by Capital South Digital you will still need to use Internet Banking to access your accounts.
